How to use ClockWork Faculty

Step 1 - Go to www.niagaracollege.ca/mync/ and click on the blue 'Login to MyNC' button. Proceed to sign in to your MyNC portal using your college username and password.


Step 2 - You should now be on your MyNC Home Page. Find the 'More Applications' icon and click on it. 


Step 3 - Click on 'All'.


Step 4 - Now look for the 'Clockwork Faculty' icon. Once you find it, you can click on the star in the top right corner of the box to favourite this app which will allow it to be displayed on your MyNC Home Page. Once you have done this, click on the 'Clockwork Faculty' icon.


Step 5 - Once on the main Clockwork Faculty screen, you will have the following two options to choose from:

  • 'Courses' where you can add, edit or view course test/exam information as well as view accommodation letters for your students.
  • 'Accommodation Letters' where you can view the letter of accommodation for students in your course.

To see the tests that have been booked by your students, click on 'Courses'.


Step 6 - If prompted, enter your college username (not your complete email address) and password. On the 'Courses' screen, click on 'Tests and Exams' to manage your tests/exams for your individual courses.


Step 7 - Click on 'Confirm/Edit' to view details of the submitted test/exam request.


Step 8 - Ensure the course you have selected is correct and enter the date and time that the test or exam is being written in-class.


Step 9 - On the next screen, you will see the students that have requested to write this test/exam with the Test Centre. If the Test Centre has already scheduled the student, the date and time of the Test Centre test will appear here.


Step 10 - On the next 'Test Information' screen, you will enter in the information that the Test Centre needs to administer and facilitate the test. Click 'Next' to continue.


Step 11 - Confirm your test/exam details, and if available, upload a digital copy of the exam. If you make any changes to previously submitted testing instructions or test file(s), please notify your campus's Test Centre of the change(s). When finished click 'Submit Changes' to add the test/exam. NOTE: If you need to upload more than one file for your test/exam please see the following step on how to do so.


Step 12 - Uploading Multiple Test/Exam Files

After you have confirmed the test the first time you will then see a 'Review File' link on the 'Scheduled Tests and Examinations' page for your course:

Once you click on 'Review File', you will be able to upload an additional file. Repeat this step for each file you need to upload.
