Appointment Policies

Appointment length: 1 hour
- 2-hour recurring appointments are available for students with a Letter of Accommodation (LOA). To arrange this, students must contact the Learning Centre at their campus.
Number of appointments allowed per day: 1
Missed appointments and late cancellations:
- After a learner misses 2 appointments or cancels 2 appointments with less than 3 hours notice, their account will be deactivated. The learner must contact the Learning Centre at their campus to reactivate their account.

Tutors:
- will not complete a tutee's work but will guide them to do it on their own.
- will not discuss tutoring sessions with others without the consent of their tutee.
- must adhere to the NC Employee Code of Conduct.
Tutors and tutees:
- will be on time and prepared for appointments.
- will inform the the Learning Centre at their campus of any conduct they feel is inappropriate.
- must adhere to the NC Student Code of Conduct and NC Academic Honesty Policy.
