Skip to Main ContentThe Peer Tutoring Program provides an opportunity for students to get course-specific help from an experienced peer who has completed and excelled in the course. Tutors can review material covered in class, help prepare for exams, or assist with learning strategies to succeed.
Support is offered in-person and online to meet the needs of students...and it's free!
Everyone can benefit from additional support. Encourage students to use this service right from the start:
Peer Tutors will help students with their studies by reviewing and clarifying material covered in class, studying for an upcoming test, or preparing for an exam. Students can make appointments throughout the term as needed.
Do you have a student in your course who is succeeding academically? Would they be a good fit to help other students succeed next term?
Faculty may refer strong students to become Peer Tutors. It is a great opportunity for students to get paid for sharing their knowledge and helping others. If you would like to recommend a student, please email us...and we'll do the rest!
We cannot guarantee a tutor will be available for every course. Your assistance in recruiting tutors is always appreciated.
**Hiring is subject to demand.
For additional help, students can attend the Academic Drop-In sessions at both campuses! Facilitators are available in-person and online to support students in Math, Science, Writing and ESL. Hours available Monday to Friday...and students can drop-in as often as they like!
