What is Peer Tutoring?

Peer Tutoring is a free service for students to get help with their course work. During a peer tutoring appointment students meet 1-on-1 with a peer tutor, a student who has already completed the course.

Operating Hours and Locations

Appointments are available from Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm). Students can meet peer tutors in person in the Library and Learning Commons peer tutoring room or online.

Tutoring for Nursing, Personal Support Worker, and Paramedic Programs

Academic Drop-In Sessions
Academic drop-in sessions are available in the Library and Learning Commons weekdays (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) for help with math, science, writing/ESL.
Simply Math (After-Hours Online Math Tutoring)
Simply Math tutors are available weekday evenings (5:00 p.m. – 11:59 p.m.) and weekends (12:01 a.m. – 11:59 p.m.) for help with basic math, algebra, business math, functions, geometry, and probability and statistics.
Academic Writer
Check out Academic Writer for help with conducting research, expressing ideas more effectively, and structuring writing and citations in APA style.
The Learning Portal
Check out modules and videos in The Learning Portal for help with essential academic skills (e.g. learning online, study skills, citation & research, writing & communication, etc.)
