ICOLC (the International Coalition of Library Consortia) has started gathering a list of vendors that are offering free or extended access to some of their products/services in response to the COVID-19 situation. If you would like our assistance with access to any of the listed resources, please let us know. For your reference:
More useful resources here with FREE access during the COVID-19 pandemic.**
Looking for virtual simulators, etc, that can be used to run online science lab courses? Some links below:
** Note: Access to these vendor resources during the COVID-19 pandemic are only for the short-term. As such, continued access via the links above (or from ncLibraries' subject guides) may not be possible or guaranteed after the situation stabilizes; please heed the access dates for each resource within the links. Please use your discretion if linking to resources found here to your online course assignments for student use during this time.
COVID-19 is restricting access to library materials placed on reserve (short-term loan, high-use books), so I suggest these alternative searching tips below.
Use the Everything Search box -- Type in the book TITLE -- Limit (on the left-hand side) to Books / E-books -- Locate your book title (from the results list) and click on the book TITLE or, -- Click to access the E-book link, which appears near the bottom of the result entry -- Log in with your Blackboard username & password -- If your current course textbook is not available, please remember older editions of the same book can be available and which may prove useful.
