Information for Faculty

Library Cards and Borrowing

• Your Niagara College ID acts as your library card. 
• You may borrow books, DVDs, reserve materials, feature films, paperbacks, magazines, and equipment such as, digital cameras, etc.
• Search for items to borrow using our catalogue

Renewals

• Items may be renewed in person, over the phone or online. If you’d like to renew an overdue item, you must contact the library.
• To renew online, go to My Library Account, and follow the instructions outlined here.

Holds

• Holds can be placed on items in the catalogue that are owned by the library.

• Some items, such as reserves and reference items, cannot be placed on hold.  The system will indicate whether a hold was successfully placed on an item or not.
